1000 words of seduction

HI all
this one is my next one for the 1000 word series, seduction.
It was done for the Communication Arts Illustration Competition. I had this picture in my mind for some time now, and decided to follow it through and finish it. Basic idea of seduction - who is seducing who? And also that seduction, when it is played well, dazzles us all
Done in photoshop, as always i used photos and photos and real live reference, and then too much blend-brush-overbrush-brush. took abaout 10H
hope you like it, cheers!

Hi all!
So now when the Xmas panic and calmness has left again, i decided to treat myself whit a little horror scene, or at least some kind of realistic, still not so much from this world picture.

I will take this one still more like an exercise, had photo help (full list below), and mainly just wanted to make not so much as a regular digital painting - then more like movie-poster-vision-real-as-its-going-to get theme.

As a first time i did not fill all the gaps i hope to repay my dues. The origin of this image comes from a picture i bought from Istock, provided by Casarsa / EyesOn. His photos have so poetic, still interesting and not dull feeling.
As it goes a thread, ill post my own photos also, to show how i put it together.

too much words already, the picture should say all there is to say. took about 5-6H, all digital, PS and wacom
Cheers all and keep up the cool work!
Here is one sneak peak from a series i am doing right now. I looked up my Templesmith comic books and art books and really looked hard and, you can even say studied them hard to see and learn some new technics. So the influence comes from there, from a art that i really enjoy just watching.
I used pencils, white-black paint, glue, paper-tape, canvas and gave the finishing touch in photoshop. took all together about 5h.
I have been trying something else, so lets hope you like it, and all the C&C are more then welcome.
Let us take another look at the masking theme. What are we hiding or covering up. Can it be told like a beauty and the beast story. or is that just the same.
Well thats just for everyone to decide by them self. This was the result from the last piece and also done for another picture blog I am filling in.
Basic setting and a bit less photo-generic, more like a puppet-idea level. No ref, photoshop, 5h.
here is another one from the 1000 series. this one has its origin from the worlds of masks. in the last weeks it has been an general idea that i have been drawing of. and this one is nice enough to show. also i wanted to describe a feeling/emotion that a mask as a coverup can be also a way of prison - for your self or your emotions. so it comes down to - what do we have to hide?
but basic instruments - photoshop, wacom, and pencil drawing as a start of. took about 6h.
started the 1000 word line, lets keep going. this image was for me more like a make-upartist job, because the inspiration came strait from a photo. I was going here to a mismacht of feelings - on one hand you have the calmness and sweet-overpowered feeling, but then as a contrast a painful hose connection. Makes it more, or less unhuman like robotic feeling. And here also goes a cheers for a photographer Famke Backx.
I had lot of fun trying something else, and paint in somewhat smoother colours then i usually do. it was done in Photoshop, took some 20h.
This can be put as a series of the "1000 words of silence" picture i did, but they all are still learning studies
So anyhow, here it is. Done in photoshop, took me about 20+h to complete. I really struggled to make the hoses and lines from her head/face, and really wonderd should i now take up and learn 3d, but im quite pleased with the outcome. I could say actually that it is more a matte painting then regular one, caouse i had some photo helps on the way - some of the hoses and some background elements.
All the Comments and crit are welcome! And actually even needed
Enjoy,
